WON’T IGNITE

If an electric stove won’t turn on, first be sure the appliance is plugged in and all circuit breakers are switched on. You should check the pilot light on gas models. If the stove is plugged in and the pilot light is lit in the oven, that means a different part will have to be repaired. The reason for the issue might be an infinite switch, surface element, burner igniter or bake and broil element.

OVEN DOES NOT HEAT

A stove or burner or oven that doesn’t heat will not do much. An oven does not heat when there is a broken bake element or oven sensor. IGNITER WILL NOT LIGHT
